UEFA! What have you done?

We’ve all known now for a wile that UEFA announced the list of the top 3 players who will be battling for UEFA’s best player award in Lionel Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez

But many have challenged the idea of putting Ronaldo before Neymar and Suarez also.

Sportmatrix have brought stats of last season, showing that Neymar performed a lot better than Suarez and Ronaldo last season, so let’s have a look at these stats!

The 23 year old also won the La Liga, Copa Del Rey and UEFA Champions League.

He was also the top scorer along with Cristiano and Messi with 10 goals

And broke the record for the first player EVER to score in 5 consecutive games (from Quarters to Final) in the Champions League

AND also the first to score hat-ricks in both Europe and South American Champions Leagues

AND has a better goal record to Ronaldo when he himself was 23!

UEFA! what have you done?

Next season expectations… Neymar, MSN and Barca style!

FC Barcelona, one of the best clubs in the world, if not the best has big expectations riding on their teams shoulders. So what can we expect from Neymar and MSN?

FIGHTS… at the very least. Neymar is not the one to make a big deal out of things but sometimes it is easy to make him angry. Like the time against Colombia. Messi is least likely to get a card, with only ONE red card in his whole career! But he did headbutt a player for Roma in the Joan Gamper Trophy. And hopefully Suarez doesn’t bite anybody!

Expect goals! Obviously! MSN scored an amazing 102 goals last season and are looking to beat that record this season!

The trio will be stronger than ever with a better chance of breaking that record this season. Luis Suarez will start the season with no ban to worry about this time round after last year only starting his season in October for biting a player in the world cup. Suarez also had got off to a bad start, but this season should be different.

Messi is looking to steal the Ballon d’or trophy off his enemy rival, Cristiano Ronaldo. That will keep the Argentine pumped to score bucket loads of goals for his team this year and next!

Neymar is also set for massive season. Many saying that it will prove weather Neymar can be the best in the world. Ney says that he aims for the 30 goal mark this season. He is also a contender for the Ballon d’or. He’ll be 24 in Feb and will be a far more experienced player.

In his time at Barcelona, the 23 year old has broke records. By being the first to score hat-ricks in the Champions League’s of bout South America and Europe and the first to score in bout legs of the Quarter finals, semi-finals and the final in consecutive games of the Champions League!

Messi (last season) scored a total of 49 goals! 30 with his left foot, 15 with his right foot and 4 with his head. 45 came from inside the box and 4 outside it! 6 were penalties and 2 were free-kicks

Neymar scored 32 goals! 3 with his left foot, 26 with his right and 3 with the head! 29 game from inside the box and 3 from the outside. The Brazil superstar scored 0 penalties and 1 free-kick.

And finally, Suarez scored 21 goals! 5 with his left, 16 with his right and 0 with his head. 19 were scored with in the box and 2 outside it. He scored 0 penalties and 0 free-kicks.

Neymar looks set to miss the opening game of La Liga to mumps (a common disease in children that makes the face swell up) but should be back on form in the second game. It will be a big season for Neymar and he could even hit the 40 goal mark! His highest in one season is 62 goals, he’ll be looking to better that some time soon!

The number 11 will bring skill to Barcelona’s attack and is a vital part of MSN. Because of MSN, Barca are favourites to win La Liga again!

Expect Neymar and Messi hugs or for short, Neymessi hugs, in EVERY game! Neymar hails Messi as the best player in the world the whole time and both of them enjoy each others company a lot.

Winning the treble last season was amazing but that is history now! The player’s must focus on this season and that is where tiredness comes into the picture. Sometimes an epic season can lead to second season syndrome. Basically that is stress, tiredness and non-performing players the next season (like Germany).

Pre-season did have a few shocks with us losing to Man.Utd 3-1 and drawing with Chelsea 1-1 and losing on penalties. But we came back in the game vs. Roma to win the Joan Gamper trophy. But then there was another dip when we lost to Athletic Bilbao 4-0 and then drawed 1-1.

Surely tho, with Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr ,Luis Suarez  and a fully fit squad, Barcelona can be unstoppable!

The Neymar Jr timeline of game graphics! FIFA and PES!

The much loved FIFA and PES games of football seem to be getting better and better everyday! 5 years ago back in 2010, game graphics weren’t all that great. With player’s faces ending up lop sided and a little bit 2D. But how has Neymar’s face changed in these videos games? Well lets have a look and compare!

This was (above) the Neymar of FIFA 10. His rating card was 77 as he was still young and playing for Santos FC at the time. His dribbling was rated highly at 90! To this day, Neymar is knowing for his dribbling and quick feet so good work on the game card FIFA!

As for the graphics on Neymar’s face… well, it wasn’t all that great! Nor was the jersey. But at that stage, the FIFA games were only evolving into something better! So let’s take a look at FIFA 11 and PES 2011!

Yup, these two picture’s here show you what Neymar looked like in FIFA 11. The FIFA game makers weren’t far off with the hair-do but they struggled to get that finished look on Neymar’s face. Still tho, the game and Neymar had improved in the 2011 version

This picture here (above) is what PES 2011 did with the then, Santos FC player. The face as you can see is pretty good! And the hair as well. I think PES did a great job in 2011!

FIFA 12 a very hairy Ney this time round. But that’s not a bad thing! That’s the haircut Neymar actually had at the time. Although, Neymar’s face was still lacking something special. Ney’s FIFA card also improved along with his play.

PES 2012 did a better job again with Neymar Jr’s face but the blue eyes?

Freaky as those picture’s look, this was Neymar in FIFA 13. A great improvement for Neymar Jr in the new game!

PES 2013 also were hard working at Neymar’s face and came out with the new blonde hair look, noes plaster and improved face also!

FIFA 14 was the the football game that really got people talking! It was the game that at the time seemed to tick all the boxes! Ney’s game card was looking good and it was the first game where he would be in a Barcelona shirt. But he still had people saying he was going to fail at Barcelona including John Cruyft.

PES 2014 did an excellent job with Neymar! In fact he looks pretty much real!

PES 2015 and FIFA 15 both did a great job on graphics for Ney last time round but this, i have to say wasn’t the best! The hair especially …

And finally FIFA 16! By far, the best of all the video games! With women’s teams added to the game and different sock heights on the players, the graphics have gone through the roof! With tattoo’s on the players now there! The tattoo that Ney has on his neck is now in the game!

This one for PES 2016 is a big one! With Neymar been named the player to be on the cover of the game! He says “I am amazed with the graphics”

Fact’s you probably didn’t know about Neymar!

Fans of Neymar’s like to call themselves Neymarzete’s and also like to say that they know everything about the man himself, Neymar Jr. But did they know these next few facts about Ney?

Neymar says that he has to cry when somebody else cries in front of him! True of course, he burst in to tears in his last game for Santos wile there was a little kid in front of him doing the exact same. The Barca star also cryed in the Champions League Final when he saw the Juventus players!

Did you know, Neymar once lost 3,000 followers in one time? And that his Instagram username used to be @njunior11 but then he changed it to @neymarjr !!

Ney says that he’s also a great sleeper. Admitting that once he was in an air plane when a bump came! Then everyone in the plane let out a scream wile Neymar slept through it! But did i mention, the first time he went on a plane he was 13 years old! And that plane went to Spain where he had trials at Real Madrid!

During training for Real, he was outstanding and scored many many goals that all him and his father had to do was sign a scrap of paper to make him a Madrid player. But Neymar Sr (Neymar’s dad) saw that his son (Neymar Jr) didn’t feel right at home in Spain (because he was so far from Brazil) that the move was called off!

Remember those gold boots that Neymar wore towards the end of his time at the World Cup 2014? Well the inspiration of the color for them comes from the time when Neymar was 12! He used to spray paint his boots gold!

The Barcelona star says that it was very hard to get gold boots so he would spray them gold. The paint always came off after a game tho!

When somebody asked Ney how he would describe himself, Neymar said “A happy, fun and cheerful person who loves what he does very much”

The Brazil superstar also has a huge since in fashion and says that he loves getting new clothes!

Neymar used to sit down with his grampa watch videos of Pele! So now you know why Ney is such a great player! And as most people know anyway, Neymar is slim so his weight when he was born as a baby was 3.75KG

His favourite color of clothing is black and favourite instrument is the guitar

And also, a favourite for many people around the world anyway is Saturday! Well it’s no different with Ney. He says his fave day is Saturday too!

Another shocking thing you didn’t know either is that Neymar nearly died in a car crash when he was just 4 months old. Neymar describes in his book that the car nearly fell of a cliff edge when it skid upside down. Neymar Sr says how he himself broke his 2 legs and how he couldn’t fine baby Neymar anywhere.

Eventually Neymar Sr found Neymar Jr covered in blood near the back. People rushed over to help the Neymar family get to hospital.

And i was happy to know (because my fave color is white) that Neymar’s fave color is white too! His car is white and his shoe size is 8.5 (U.S size)

So that’s enough facts for one day i guess! If Ney took that chance to join Real Madrid, this picture could have been a reality

Neymar reveals the 3 players who he would have liked to play with

As a young child, watching football, he would only dream of playing with the stars he watched on TV when he would be old enough to play. Neymar was like the dreamers too!

Considered the best young player currently, Neymar is becoming an idol to millions but the Brazilian has idols of his own as well! In a Q&A Neymar revealed 3 players that he would have like to play with…

2 of which, were Real Madrid legends!

The 23 year old told FIFA TV that he is a big fan of Romario. Romario of course was an amazing player for Brazil.

Barcelona’s star player also mentioned that Zidane was a player he wished he could play with. Zidane (as most people know) was a Real Madrid legend, scoring an outstanding volley in the 2002 Champions League Final.

Neymar mentioned Ronaldo too (the Brazilian one of course).

He said “I got to play with Ronaldo, but only once during his last game for Brazil. But i would love to play more with him.”

Neymar finished the topic by saying “those three are the main ones I’d have loved to play alongside”

Ronaldo and Zidane were both outstanding players for Real Madrid wile they were there and Romario featured for Barcelona as well. It’s also useful to note that Ronaldo also spent a season at Barca!

3 players that had very successful careers. And as it seems, Neymar could just hit super stardom soon! Could he be even better than Ronaldo, Zidane and Romario?
